JOB DESCRIPTIONS
Staff Accountant 
Staff accountants are recent college graduates or those with limited work experience. The duties of a staff accountant include:
- Recognize potential audit issues or unusual relationships from basic analysis of the financial statements and communicate them to the engagement team.
- Clearly and accurately document the execution of specific audit procedures as defined by the engagement objectives, client's engagement history, and planned audit approach.
- Demonstrate professionalism and competence in the client's environment.
- Establish good working relationships with client personnel.
- Perform analytical review of audit documents.
- Exhibit a professional, business-like demeanor.
Senior Accountant 
Senior accountants are those with approximately three years of public accounting experience. The duties of a senior accountant include:
- Develop and maintain productive relationships with client management throughout the year.
- Participate in performing audit procedures, especially focusing on complex and/or specialized issues.
- Collaborate to plan engagement objectives and an audit strategy that complies with professional standards and appropriately addresses risk.
- Develop staff by encouraging individuals to think for themselves and take responsibility for their contributions to the team.
- Training of the staff level auditor.
- Conduct timely performance reviews and provide performance feedback/training.
Manager 
Managers are those with approximately five to eight years of experience. The duties of a manager include:
- Managing the engagement team and client expectations of several engagements that are in process.
- Establishing and maintaining key client relationships.
- Developing of a referral network of key business contacts and a role in business development.
- Knowledge of the current business environment and keeping up to date on the issues of the industries that the firm services.
Principal 
The road to principal is different for every individual. Principal is a title that is earned with many years of experience and can be the ultimate goal of some or a pre-partner evaluation level. A principal would have the technical capabilities of a partner and often times will function as a partner on many engagements. Principals, generally use this level to work on the finer points of being a partner and are given the opportunity to function as a partner in order to help develop the necessary skills.
Partner 
The road to partnership is different for every individual. Partners must be knowledgeable about accounting issues throughout all industries served by the firm. A partner must have the ability to manage, supervise and mentor managers, seniors and staff. Generally, the partners represent the firm in networking functions and social events, accordingly, they must project a positive image of the firm and be qualified business advisors. In addition, partners are responsible for the overall satisfaction of the clients and quality of our work product.
